The Waiting Game

Everything feels like it’s taking forever to fall into place. I finally got offered a position, which I accepted, after job hunting for the past half year. But because it’s a job that is associated with a military branch, I have to go through a more intensive background check. So I have to wait before I have my first day on the job.
